Dragons
at
the edge of the town i stopped, when i got out
of my car
a cold autumn wind blew rage into my face
for i
would never see you again
i thought we would never

i wanted to fly forever with you
suddenly i saw
two paperdragons in the sky
our wishes rose to glide so
high
you and me climbed like dragons, into the sky,
together
tore up the chains that confined, crossing the blue,
we are so true
at your grave such depair took hold,
i'd like to turn back the time
we can't return to what we had
before
this pushes me into madness, more and more
we had
risen over it all
there was another reality for us
and it
tore up all the chains
took away the pain and let us fly
away
